A WEEK OF JOURNALISTIC EXPERIENCE
TWJ-ISRAEL is an educational program for people with interest in the Middle East for different purposes, such as journalism, photography, documentary film-making, storytelling, political science and Middle East studies.
Our licensed guides are experienced journalists with a vast knowledge of the Middle East in many subjects, which they will be glad to share with you. During a week of traveling around the country, we will take you to see for yourself the reality that exists beyond the headlines, videos and images that the Holy Land produces, more than any other country in the world.
HIGHLIGHTS

We will teach you of the country's complex history, different religions, conflicts, minorities and politics. You will have the privilege of hearing many different points of view; all the varied sides of the story that make this place so interesting and controversial will be presented.
Among these - the Jewish settlers on the hills of Judea and Samaria (West Bank), the Bedouin nomads who struggle to preserve their traditions in modern day Israel, the Arab Druze community that serves in the Israeli Army, and the Israeli Christian Arabs trapped within the Jewish-Muslim conflict over the land.
You will also meet with Palestinians who have been living under two entities for the last 20 years, as a result of the peace talks that have ultimately reached a dead end. We will also visit the colorful markets, the biblical and historical sites, as well as the borders surrounding Israel with its neighbors: Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
