Ilan Mizrahi began his professional photojournalism career in 1995.

​

In the year 2000, Ilan presented his first solo exhibition in Jerusalem, after which his photographs appeared in major exhibitions around the world as well as in numerous books.

​

Since 2002, he has worked as a freelance photo and video journalist for foreign TV stations, newspapers and magazines, including the L.A. Times, The Times, Der Spiegel, Time Magazine, Washington Post, Le Monde and many more.

​

In 2008, Ilan published his first photography book, titled “Existence”, illustrating Jerusalem between the years 1995 to 2005.

​

A year later, Ilan filmed and directed a 45-minute documentary film named “Rise of the Right” for the Al Jazeera English television channel.

​

That same year, Ilan graduated his studies and became licensed as a tour guide by the Israeli Ministry of Tourism.

​

In 2011, his book “Existence” was presented in two solo exhibitions, the first in the city of Nancy in France and the second in the Roosevelt House in NYC.

​

Since then, Ilan has worked as a freelance journalist for the international media and has operated as a tour guide for leading travel agencies specializing in educational tours in Israel.
